The TotalDiag 5800 is a digital portable tool, compact and user friendly, characterised by state-of-the-art technology that allows diagnostics on all types of communication protocols of vehicles ECUs.
The tool comes in a case with all cables for connection to the cars. It isn’t just EOBD, it also comes with legacy cables for connection to older vehicles, eg. BMW, Mercedes, Ford (2 types), Fiat, VAG, Opel/Vauxhall, Old-style Citroen/Peugeot, 30-pin PSA. RS232 lead to connect to PC, and a universal Pin-out cable (for any vehicle which doens’t have a specific lead). It also comes with the 16-pin EOBD lead.
Thanks to the innovative Touch Screen technology the tool controls are displayed by means of virtual keys on the display and can be selected by simple finger presses on the screen. Therefore the screen display only needs to display the relevant controls, meaning that the tool is uncluttered and has a larger viewable screen area.
The case protects the tool and accessories before and after use, with custom foam protection and separate compartment for the cables.
